Templates are the core of any presentation and embed corporate identity features such as colour palette, fonts and branding.

The template and presentation design are frequently driven by the style of the annual report, defining table and graph styles, iconography, diagrams, picture and other element treatment. Features of the digital presentation medium are applied to bring it to life. The work area can be set and maximised for all content, so that branding and other fixed design elements are not interfered with.

Analyst presentations have a fixed deadline so the ability to make changes quickly at the last minute but with precision is dependent on the quality of the template.

Colour coding sections is a useful subject differentiation technique and selecting the corresponding layout in a different colour setup allows fast slide section changes.

Using placeholders in the presentation template facilitates accuracy when a repetitive layout is required.

Template placeholders are versatile, and some can be designed to any shape. Content e.g., photographs in these placeholders are easily replaced.
